Corvette Assembly Plant to Shut Down for Upgrades?


The Bowling Green Assembly plant will shut down this summer for planned upgrades to its assembly line then reopen to commence production of the 2018 model year according to a Corvetteblogger.com article posted on January 20, 2017 by Keith Cornett. No official announcement has been issued by the plant yet, but the closure is expected to occur at the end of the 2017 model year production. As per the NCM Plant Tour booking website, the last tour date available is listed as June 16, 2017.
