Ron (Doc) and Linda Holliday

We first learned about the club through our friend Bob Kenworthy, where we were attending the Friday Night Cruise In at Sonic, Bob invited us to attend the upcoming meeting and told us to contact Walt to get more info. So after talking with Walt we decided to join. So here are.

Here is a little bit of history of Linda and I.

Linda is originally from Tennessee and I’m from Iowa.
Linda and I meet at Lackland, AFB, Texas, in November of '75, Linda was a Combat Arms Instructor one of the first four females to enter that career and I was a Munitions Specialist I just finished a short tour in Korea and was assigned to a new detachment at Lackland. We were a blind date set up by some co-workers and we just seemed to hit it off from the start, two years later we were married. After Lackland we were then assigned to Lowry AFB here in Colorado from there we joined the Colorado Air National Guard in 81 to finish our Air Force career, Linda retired in 94 and I retired in 2008. Linda went on to work at Hughes Aircraft Corp and then to Civil Service with the Air Force as a Medical Quality and Risk Manager and I was a full time technician with the Guard. We have two children Lyra and Katie.

Our first corvette was a 1984 L83 4+3 Bright Silver Metallic. We currently own a 2002 Yellow LS1 Coupe.

Linda is into scrapbooking and quilting and I bowl, plus both of us are target shooters. We enjoy sports on TV i.e., NASCAR and football.  Enjoying retirement!
