Steve and Debbie Goldstein
Debbie and I are both Denver natives. We actually have known each other since we were in Jr. High School. We dated in High School and then we both moved on. We both got divorced around the same time and I went to a dance and Debbie was there taking tickets. We went out for coffee until 3:30 A. M. and the rest is history. We both had a child from our previous marriage and then we got married and have a daughter together. We have (six)-grandchildren today. Debbie retired after teaching for almost (30) years at Euclid Middle School in Littleton, Co. I am still working as a Regional Sales Manager for CHAMPION FIBERGLASS, INC. out of Spring, Texas.
I have always wanted a CORVETTE & THUNDERBIRD since I was a little boy and the first VETTE came out in 1953 and the first BIRD came out in 1955. This dream did come true when I got my 2005 THUNDERBIRD as a Valentine's Day gift from Debbie. On the fourth of July, 2009 I got my VETTE. It was a 2002 C-5 convertible. Finally, I had both of my dreams parked in my garage at the same time. What a lucky man and what a wonderful wife. I got very ill and almost passed away twice. The second time my son Charlie told me that if I did not give up he and Debbie would get me a brand new VETTE. I got well and they got me the 2013 C-6 ZO6 convertible 427 in Crystal Red with Tan Top and two-tone interior with the ZR1 wheels.
We belonged to LOOKING GLASS CORVETTE CLUB but left because we did not feel comfortable and then visited and joined the 4Cs. We are very happy to be new members with this club and like and enjoy everything and everybody associated with CENTRAL COLORADO CORVETTE CLUB. We have a rescue dog that is our dearest child and his name is "MORTY”.
